Remember yesterday?

We left it here.
What a difference a border makes to any blanket. (Blocking improves it in leaps and bounds too – but no time for that today!) and it doesn’t have to always be a big border.

This one is very simple.

A single round of Blue Velveteen followed by a round of Peridot and finished with the ubiquitous Dragon’s Teeth border. Quick, simple – and done.
All squares completed using just one ball of each colour – but two balls of Blue Velveteen needed for centres, outer round and border. Only one ball of Peridot used including the splash of colour in the border.
So that’s TWO down and TEN to go for a blanket a month in 2022! I can now turn my head towards a #simplythirtysquares creation for March, and this time I may have bitten off more than I can chew! I’ll be using mostly scraps, of which I have plenty, but hopefully bigger squares for this one!
Also complete – apart from a few stray ends – is the February strip for the Temperature Blanket.

Both grannies are joined for the other temperature blanket too. This will be a small throw.

And I’ve started joining this ..

So there’ll be a post about it later in the week.
And … until 8 pm tonight you can still enter the giveaway on Instagram if you live in the UK.
See you soon.
Beautiful!
