This project began on August 26 2020. It was part of a daily plan for every day of 2020. As with all other blankets in this series the instructions were published (usually) once a week on a Wednesday.

Below is the colour recipe. All yarns are Stylecraft Special DK. Use your preferred hook for this yarn, there are no tension requirements. I always use a 4.5 hook.

Instructions for the square I chose CAN BE FOUND HERE but the colour combination will work with an ordinary Granny Square too.

Join the squares into a strip as you work each day, then join the strips together as you complete them. This way the blanket will begin to form before your eyes, especially if you follow the practice of weaving in the ends as you go.

Each square is 5 rounds, with Mushroom as the final round and for joining.

Work each square in the colour order given – the first colour represents the centre of the block.

Week 1: August 26 – September 1.

Day 1: Violet, Pale Rose, Bluebell, Lobelia, Mushroom.
Day 2: Raspberry, Storm Blue, Stone, Sage, Mushroom.
Day 3: 5 Rounds in Mushroom. Single colour square.
Day 4: Sage, Stone, Storm Blue, Raspberry, Mushroom.
