It’s been an odd few days. Not as much time to continue with THIS project as I would have hoped, but I am making progress. I have a bag of little stacks of squares which are slowly being transformed into strips.
There will be 11 altogether and I have completed 4 so far.
My preferred way of working is to complete the strips before joining them. All ends have been woven in – except those you can see. I learnt a long time ago not to presume that a layout is set in stone! The above picture illustrates the reason perfectly! Can you spot 4 that need rearranging? All squares are different, but the tones on some make them appear almost identical.
I’m hoping to finish another strip later today. Tomorrow won’t be a crochet day! The Gas Man cometh!

I think this is the reason I struggle with JAYG – I like to be able to place them all out before joining !! LOL
Have the best day xox

ABSOLUTELY! I always lay them out, but light is not good here, so I’ve found this method works perfectly. Take care Linda, thinking of you and the family xox

It takes me some time when I lay them out on my dining table, then I walk around looking at different angles! 😊

Yes! It can take forever can’t it! We have very little space here so the answer is often the floor! But the. We have long shadows… 😂
