Autumn rears it’s head

I’m writing this on a gloriously sunny day of 26deg C. I’m on holiday – my last day. It hasn’t been the best of summers, but my 4 days away have been truly blessed with blue skies and sun.

I’ve had a boat ride.

Walked beside a lake

Even had some foodie treats! (This is the only one I photographed)

And relaxed!

This cat is part of the household I’m visiting – so no duties on that front – except cuddling!

I’ve crocheted too, but the current work in progress will have to wait for a day or two before ‘reveal’

So today I’ll show you the August finishes.

The first is Silver Sprinkles. I used the new Hint of Silver as the joining colour. It worked well and I’ll certainly use it again

Cariad Carnival was another finish. And so too was the August strip of this year’s Temperature Blanket.

As mentioned in my previous post August was a non-blogging month – but I’ll be back to normal once I get home.

Have a good week everyone.
