What’s next? #crochet6in366

There is only one more blanket to go in the #crochet6in366 series, and now seems as good a time as any to give you details. The current one will finish next week.

My yarn of choice for this blanket is Stylecraft Batik. It’s an Acrylic/Wool blend which I have used before. My plan is for simple squares, each one using two colours. I would have preferred single colours, but previously I had problems with yardage. Several of the balls were very short on yardage, so I’m entering into this blanket with a plan in mind.

So, on the basis above – here’s what you will need..

One ball each of the Batik Elements range, namely – IRON, COPPER, SULPHUR, KRYPTON, GALIUM, TITANIUM, MAGNESIUM, MERCURY, PHOSPHORUS, PLATINUM and BISMUTH.

The range is so lovely it’s hard to choose just a few .. so why not use them all? (Yarn pegs via Dotty)

Also needed in BATIK – 3 balls of CREAM and 2 balls of INDIGO

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS IS ENOUGH FOR THE SQUARES ONLY! There should be some left over but as always the choice of border is up to you.

As always you can buy yarn from Deramores. It’s worth checking this link as there are sometimes very special offers

The current blanket, Funfetti HotchPotch, ends on November 5 so the next will begin the following day.

This will be a warm and cosy end to 2020 leaving us with a comforting large lap blanket/throw for the treacherous months of January and February

I hope you will join me. 2020 has been such a difficult year I decided that I wanted to end with a touch of something different.
