There is only one more blanket to go in the #crochet6in366 series, and now seems as good a time as any to give you details. The current one will finish next week.

My yarn of choice for this blanket is Stylecraft Batik. It’s an Acrylic/Wool blend which I have used before. My plan is for simple squares, each one using two colours. I would have preferred single colours, but previously I had problems with yardage. Several of the balls were very short on yardage, so I’m entering into this blanket with a plan in mind.

So, on the basis above – here’s what you will need..

One ball each of the Batik Elements range, namely – IRON, COPPER, SULPHUR, KRYPTON, GALIUM, TITANIUM, MAGNESIUM, MERCURY, PHOSPHORUS, PLATINUM and BISMUTH.

The range is so lovely it’s hard to choose just a few .. so why not use them all? (Yarn pegs via Dotty)

Also needed in BATIK – 3 balls of CREAM and 2 balls of INDIGO

This will be a warm and cosy end to 2020 leaving us with a comforting large lap blanket/throw for the treacherous months of January and February
