A warning, the photos aren’t good, bad light stopped play, as it were.
It’s been an unexpected weekend so far. It began in a normal fashion, but a phone call saw us out dog walking a family member’s which was definitely not part of the original plan.

The up side of that was that our regime of walking at least 30 minutes a day was dealt with almost without having to ‘fit it in. He’s a lovely dog, obedient and walks well, so it wasn’t a chore. It also meant we walked an area that wasn’t part of one of our regular routes.

We also had unexpected views of aircraft. Since lockdown the skies have been virtually empty, so this private jet was a bit of a surprise!
We were home for a late lunch, and then it was time to feed a neighbours’ cat.

He’s a big friendly fellow. We only have to feed him for a short while, but it’s been a long time since we had to deal with both cats and dogs 😉

Now, all I had to do was make a fruit salad for later, and then I could settle down to some crochet,

So that’s what happened! I’ve started a new blanket. This one is for Christmas … probably! I’m calling it Tickled Pink, and hopefully it will live up to its name! Started in August .. finished in …?
Sounds like a good change up for your weekend !!
Tickled pink sounds like the perfect name for a blanket.

Let’s face it, Linda. We must live a very boring life if marvelling at a private jet and making a fruit salad are the high spots of the weekend! 😉
