… I’ve finished something!
You may remember this. Well, the little cat blanket is finished!
It was great fun to make, and I sincerely hope it wasn’t all in vein. I will just reiterate – don’t embark on a project like this unless you know the end use will be appropriate, I wouldn’t use it for a charity blanket for instance.
I’ve also made a little progress on the other project shown in the above post, but I’ll show you that another day.
I’m taking this opportunity to briefly chat about #crochet6in366. The schedule for the last few squares of the current blanket will be published on Wednesday, so it’s time to think about the next one.
Blanket number three is next! It seems to have come around so quickly. This time my version will definitely be a scrap blanket and will have 63 squares. While some of the squares will be random colours some of them will use the remnants of others I’ve worked on this year. It will also feature a dark grey as the main colour. I seem to have a superfluity of dark grey – hardly surprising as it sets off well so many colours.
If you are thinking of buying yarn this weekend Deramores have some generous offers on. They are also offering a 20% discount for all NHS workers.
The NHS is doing an amazing job. You may like to know about another fundraiser that is about to be launched. If you want to know more take a look here. It’s a collaborative venture between two very talented people.
