Catch-up …

2025 was a very difficult year, and it’s continued into the first three months of 2026. Sickness, bereavements and more have been just some of our ‘battles’, but I trust that the corner will be turned soon.

Crochet has been impossible since mid November until a few days ago, so nothing to show you except the final few of last year.

I’m staying positive (it’s my middle name), especially as last week we welcomed our second great grandson! We meet him on Wednesday. What joy!

  1. Welcome back! It is so wonderful to see you back in action again after such a long and difficult silence.

I was so sorry to hear that the start of 2026 has continued the heavy battles of sickness and bereavement you faced last year. Please know that your resilience and your commitment to “staying positive” are truly inspiring.

Most importantly, a huge congratulations on the arrival of your second great-grandson! What a beautiful reason for joy. I hope your first meeting with him this Wednesday is absolutely precious.

I’m so sorry to hear that the poopy 2025 has carried into 2026 – that is not good.

I have been doing more knitting than crocheting. We are on a 2 week 6000km road trip around Queensland – thoroughly enjoying ourselves so far although we are only on day 3.

Sending lots of hugs that the year gets better for you. Congratulations on the birth of your second great grandson – enjoy meeting him on Wednesday xox

    1. Bless you Linda. Thank you. Life throws all sorts of challenges doesn’t it. I refuse to be bowed. I wish I could still comfortably knit but it makes me very tense these days – and that I don’t need! 🤭. Enjoy your trip. It sounds amazing. By all means email some pictures but I may be slow to reply. xox
