Today is the last day of the month, and also the last day of Blogtober2021. I didn’t think I’d make it through, but somehow I did. Actually, I quite enjoyed blogging every day, but I don’t think it’s sustainable long term. If you missed a day or two, or would like a recap you can find all those posts VIA THIS LINK
BLOGTOBER2021 also coincided with an Instagram meme – #organisedoctober. In theory a plan is laid down by the individual and there is much encouragement to keep to it and finish. Truth is … I’m not very good at sticking to plans.
The month began well, as I was able to reveal a finish on day 1
But that was really a cheat as the bulk had been completed in September!
It was my original intention to make inroads into this enormous blanket. And I did make several squares, but before long there was a ‘calling’ from my yarn scraps and I began this.
I finished it too – so, although not on my original fictitious list, something was complete. Then, hey presto, this was completed too.

I had fun with that – especially the border.

Then for the last week I lost the steam for finishing, but dragged out something that had only been a vague idea.

All squares are done! Finished yesterday afternoon. I had hoped to get them into some sort of arrangement and reveal today, but I left it too late and daylight disappeared. Today is cloudy and dismal so I’m not even considering it.
I hope you have enjoyed the journey this month and that you will come back for more. My daily squares took on a new guise yesterday but you will have to wait until another day for information about that.
