The next few weeks will be very busy. I have a lot to do on several fronts, and crochet will probably have to take a back seat. It’s probably the same for you all too.

Progress on the Temperature blanket continues. I have begun to work the edge of each block, just two rounds of matching colour

To refresh your memories, the edging colour varied according to the season:

• Winter – Parchment
• Spring – Stone
• Summer – Camel
• Autumn – Gold

I’m really pleased with the way it’s looking, but the four strips will need co-ordinating in some way. I have a plan, you’ll see in the next update of this blanket – probably.

I will be sorry to see the end of this project. As you know it has sparked several others, but it has also left me with quite a large stash of leftover yarn.

I’m planning a project for that, to begin in January. More details coming before long, maybe you will think about joining me in a stashbusting exercise for 2018.
