August is slowly slipping away. Autumn will be with us before we know it.
I love these flowers, but when they come in profusion it’s a sure sign that summer is nearing its end. This year, however, they have been flowering since early June. Very strange!
Maybe one day I’ll make a blanket around these colours. Not yet, though. I’ve made a start on the Spirit of August and it’s gone well so far.
Each block has two colours and a border. I’ve used this block before. If you would like to know how it’s made this post here has cursory instructions.
Progress from now on will be slow. September, October and November are very busy with family stuff so crochet will have to take a very ‘back seat’. Even the temperature blanket may have to wait, but my records will continue.
I’m tired! In fact, at times I feel almost exhausted, but that passes. I’ll get a break soon, and I’ll let you know if I manage to sneak in a little crochet
I love this square. Can you tell me where I could find the pattern please?

Thanks for dropping in, Linda, I’m glad you like it. It’s very versatile and I’ve used it a few times. I wrote an earlier post about this block and there are cursory instructions there. Take a look, if they aren’t very clear I’ll do a post with more details. https://crochetalongwithme.blog/2017/03/02/play-with-a-purpose/
