I did say that progress would be slow on the Blanket of Fire. Well, it is. The diagonal is getting shorter, but there is still a long way to go.

I’m loving working with the mix of colours, though, and tomorrow it will be a month since it was started. One of the reds is very frustrating, though. It has knots every few yards, I don’t want to think about all the ends that need weaving into one sequence. I’ve had to buy another ball just for peace of mind!

Those of you that have been following the blog will have read that I never intend to make a blanket from Granny Squares. And just to prove it……

…… I just happen to have a few started. My motto is ‘Never say ‘Never’, which is just as well…….

because I think a blanket made with my Granny Squares will take far longer than the Blanket of Fire.
